We raise money for charities and have enjoyment at the same time.
The Rotary Club of Friern Barnet and Whetstone was formed in 1961 and
currently has 19 members. Since 1st July 1988, £117,962 has been raised
and donated to over 80 charities including:

Other Charities include Marie
Stopes, Royal Shallop, Alzheimer's Society, Save a Child's Heart,
Chicken Shed, Shelter Boxes, Harefield Hospital, Junior Diabetes,
Summerside School, Kids Out, Barnet Dyslexia, Salvation Army, St John's
School etc.
Over the years in excess of 200 members have enjoyed
undertaking various projects designed to help the local community,
including the weekly volunteer driver 'taxi' run to the local Day Centre
for the elderly, and the Christmas door to door collections using an
authentic Father Christmas sleigh which sometimes looks like a converted
milk float.
In addition, we run many social events and are involved in a wide range
of sports to raise money for charities.
We are twinned with the
Rotary Club
of Chevreuse (near Paris), and have bi-annual exchange visits.
